What types of vehicles are available for rent?

We offer economy and premium sedans. The exact model will be determined when you pick up the car. However, all of our vehicles pass our strict quality criteria, meaning you will always get a car newer than 2023 with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, as well as standard safety features such as collision detection and lane keep.

How do I check vehicle availability?

You can check availability by using our online reservation system or contacting us.

How do I make a reservation?

Simply go to the homepage of this website, choose your desired time period, and select the car you’d like to rent. You’ll receive an email confirmation after completing your booking.

Do you offer campus pickup?

Yes! We offer free pickup and drop-off service on or around Purdue’s campus. (subject to availability)

Am I eligible to rent from Veygo?

Currently, we offer rentals exclusively to Purdue students over the age of 18. We plan to expand to more universities in the future.

What documents are required to rent a vehicle?

You’ll need a valid U.S. driver’s license or international license, your Purdue Student ID, and a credit or debit card.

Can I add additional drivers?

Yes, you can add up to four additional drivers. The cost is $19.98 per driver, and each additional driver must meet the same eligibility requirements.

How much does it cost to rent a car?

Economy cars start at $69.99 per day, and Premium cars are $84.99 per day. We also offer discounts for longer rentals and promotions announced on our social media channels.

Pricing & Payment

Are there any discounts or promotions available?

Yes! We announce discounts and promotions regularly on our Instagram. We also offer discounts for rentals longer than 5 days.

What happens if the car I reserved becomes unavailable?

In the rare case your reserved car becomes unavailable, we will provide a full refund and may offer a discount for your next rental.

Are there any hidden fees?

No, there are no hidden fees when booking. Additional charges may apply if they are triggered during or after the rental, including late returns, excess mileage, fuel or EV charging differences, smoking, lost keys, damage, recovery costs, or other charges allowed under the rental agreement.

Do you offer any protection plans?

Yes. We currently offer an optional Collision Damage Waiver, or CDW, for $28.99 per day. CDW is not liability insurance and does not cover third-party injury or property damage claims. Renters are responsible for having valid liability insurance that meets Indiana’s minimum requirements.

Can I use my own insurance?

Yes, if you have valid coverage that meets Indiana’s minimum requirements, you can use your own insurance. You’ll need to provide proof when booking and during pickup.

Is there a mileage limit for rentals?

Economy and Premium rentals include 250 miles per day unless otherwise stated. Hourly rentals include the mileage package selected at booking. Additional mileage is charged based on the rental tier and vehicle class, typically $0.55–$0.65 per mile for daily rentals and $1.00 per mile for hourly rentals.

Returns

What is your fuel policy?

You must return the vehicle with the same amount of fuel it had when rented. For Hourly Rentals fuel is included. Otherwise, refueling charges will apply.

What is your refund policy?

You can cancel for a full refund if you cancel more than 72 hours before pickup.If you cancel within 72 hours but more than 24 hours before pickup, you will receive a 50% refund.Cancellations made within 24 hours of pickup are non-refundable, and the full booking amount will be charged.If you are unable to rent because you do not meet Veygo’s rental requirements, the same cancellation policy applies.

What is your late return policy?

A fee of $20 per hour will be charged if the vehicle is returned more than 30 minutes late.

Can I take the rental vehicle out of the country?

No, our rental vehicles are only allowed for use within the United States.

What should I do if I encounter a problem during my rental?

Veygo offers 24/7 phone support during active rentals. We do not currently provide in-house roadside assistance, but we can help coordinate next steps, such as contacting a towing provider, tire service, or repair provider. Any roadside, towing, tire, or repair costs may be the renter’s responsibility depending on the cause and the rental agreement.

What if I get into an accident or the car breaks down?

In case of an accident, contact the police and file a report, then notify us. If the car breaks down, contact Veygo for further assistance.

Can I extend my rental?

Yes, you can request an extension through our website or by contacting us directly.
