2. Eligibility
Open only to individuals who, at the time of entry and winner verification: (a) are 18 years of age or older; (b) are currently enrolled students of Purdue University; (c) possess a valid driver’s license acceptable for vehicle rental in Indiana; and (d) are physically located in the 50 U.S./D.C. Entries from outside the 50 U.S./D.C. are void. Employees, officers, and directors of Sponsor and its affiliates, advertising/promotion agencies, and their immediate family/household members are not eligible. Promotion is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Instagram or Purdue University.
3. Promotion Period
Starts 8/25/2025 at 12:00:01 a.m. Eastern Time (“ET”) and ends 9/22/2025 at 11:59:59 p.m. ET (“Promotion Period”). Sponsor’s server is the official time-keeping device.
4. How to Enter (Instagram)
During the Promotion Period:
- Follow @rentveygo on Instagram;
- Like the designated giveaway post;
- Comment on that post and tag two (2) different friends who attend Purdue.
You will receive one (1) entry for completing the above (“Base Entry”).
Bonus Entries (optional):
+1 additional entry per extra unique friend tag, up to twenty (20) additional entries (tags must be in separate comments and not repeat the same two accounts).
+3 additional entries for sharing the giveaway post to your Instagram Story and tagging @rentveygo during the Promotion Period (if your account is private, you must send a DM screenshot as proof within 24 hours of posting).
Entry Limits: Maximum twenty-four (24) total entries per person/Instagram account (1 base + 20 tag bonuses + 3 Story bonus). Entries that exceed limits, use multiple or fake accounts, or use automated means are void. Entries must comply with Instagram’s Terms and must not inaccurately tag content. Private accounts are eligible but must respond to verification DMs as described below.No purchase or payment is required to enter or win. Internet access and an Instagram account are required.
5. Content Guidelines & Conduct
Comments/Stories must not be unlawful, harmful, harassing, hateful, defamatory, obscene, or otherwise violate Instagram or Sponsor policies. Sponsor may disqualify entries it deems inappropriate or non-compliant, including mass-tagging with near-identical lists, bot-like activity, accounts under 30 days old, or accounts with fewer than three (3) posts.
6. Random Drawing & Odds
On or about 9/22/2025, Sponsor will conduct a random drawing from all eligible entries received to select one (1) potential Grand Prize winner. Odds depend on the number of eligible entries received.
7. Winner Notification & Verification
Sponsor will notify the potential winner by Instagram Direct Message within [48–72] hours after the drawing. The potential winner must respond within 24 hours with requested verification, which may include: (i) full name, mobile number, and Purdue email; (ii) proof of current Purdue enrollment; (iii) date of birth; (iv) clear photo of driver’s license (you may cover license number except the last four digits); and (v) signed Affidavit of Eligibility, Liability/Publicity Release, and a completed IRS Form W-9 if required. Sponsor may also require winner to complete all standard rental eligibility steps, including identity/age verification and acceptance of Sponsor’s rental agreement and policies.
If the potential winner does not respond timely, is ineligible, or fails to complete verification, Sponsor may disqualify that person and select an alternate by random drawing, repeating until awarded or ending the Promotion.
8. Prizes & Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”)
Grand Prize (1): One (1) three-consecutive-day vehicle rental from Sponsor, insurance included (e.g., LIS/CDW), plus $100 cash (paid via gift card or electronic payment, in Sponsor’s discretion). Vehicle class/model subject to availability; typical models include 2024 Kia Forte, 2023 Toyota Corolla Hybrid, or 2024 Tesla Model 3. Includes up to [250] miles/day; overage charged per Sponsor’s standard tiers. ARV: $400.
Conditions: Winner must meet rental eligibility (valid driver’s license; 18+), sign Sponsor’s rental agreement, and comply with all rental terms (e.g., late fees, tolls, tickets, fuel, mileage overages, additional driver fees unless waived, and other charges not expressly included). A security deposit/hold may be required per policy. Travel to/from pickup or delivery location is not included. No cash alternative for rental portion. Prize is not transferable, and no substitutions are permitted except Sponsor may substitute a prize of equal or greater value if the stated prize becomes unavailable.
Consolation Offer (all non-winning entrants): One-time promo code for $15 off the entrant’s first booking at Veygo, issued via Instagram DM or email/SMS (if provided), expires 14 days from issuance, valid on bookings completed by [date], one use per person, not combinable, non-transferable, subject to availability, blackout dates (including certain weekends) and Sponsor’s standard rental terms. Discount applies to base rental charges; taxes/fees excluded unless expressly stated.
Taxes: Winners are solely responsible for any taxes and fees. Sponsor may issue IRS forms as required by law.
9. Prize Redemption Windows
Grand Prize must be booked by [X days] after winner announcement and traveled by [Y days] after winner announcement. Blackout dates may apply (e.g., high-demand weekends, university holidays). Scheduling subject to vehicle availability in West Lafayette, IN and Sponsor’s operating hours.10. License to Use Entries / Publicity
By entering, you grant Sponsor a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use your comment/Story handles and entry content for administering the Promotion and for marketing (including reposting UGC), without additional compensation, to the extent permitted by law. Where legal, winner agrees to the use of their name, class year (optional), and general location for winner announcement and promotional purposes without further notice or compensation.11. General Conditions
Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any person tampering with the entry process or acting in violation of these Rules or Instagram terms, and to cancel, suspend, or modify the Promotion if fraud, technical failures, or any other factor impairs the integrity of the Promotion, as determined by Sponsor.
12. Release & Indemnity
By participating, entrants release and hold harmless Sponsor, Instagram, Purdue University, and each of their respective parents, affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from any liability for any claims, losses, or damages arising out of participation or prize use, including travel or driving incidents, except to the extent caused by Sponsor’s gross negligence or willful misconduct.
Entrants acknowledge and agree that the Promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Instagram, and each entrant releases Instagram from any responsibility regarding the Promotion. You understand you are providing your information to Sponsor, not to Instagram.
13. Disputes / Governing Law
All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation, and enforceability of these Rules, or the rights and obligations of Participants and Sponsor, shall be governed by the laws of the State of Indiana, without giving effect to conflict-of-law principles. Venue for any action shall be the state or federal courts located in Tippecanoe County, Indiana. Class/representative actions are waived to the fullest extent permitted by law.
14. Privacy
Information collected is subject to Sponsor’s Privacy Policy at https://www.veygo.rent/privacy-policy and used to administer the Promotion, contact entrants, and provide offers. For entrants who opt in, Sponsor may send marketing emails/SMS; you can opt out at any time.15. Winner List / Rules Request
