Yes, insurance is required by law. You can either use your own insurance, provided it meets or exceeds state minimum requirements, or purchase insurance directly through Veygo.

The PCDW limits your responsibility for damage to the rental vehicle. With Veygo’s PCDW, you're protected against the cost of damages, with a deductible of $1,000. This means you’ll only be responsible for the first $1,000 in damages.

We are currently in the process of obtaining and offering liability insurance for purchase. As of right now renters must provide their own proof of liability insurance when renting.

Yes, if you have valid insurance that covers rental vehicles, you may decline Veygo’s insurance. You will need to upload your policy when booking as well as provide proof of coverage at the time of rental.

No, Veygo’s insurance coverage does not extend to personal belongings inside the vehicle. We recommend checking if your personal insurance or renter’s insurance covers theft or damage to personal items.

The CDW does not cover damages caused by reckless driving, driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol, or using the vehicle for illegal activities. Additionally, interior damage or mechanical issues not related to an accident are also not covered.
